I cannot recommend this enough!
There is a lof of novelty in seeing Entropy di a long-form, serialized, narrative that is focused on the journey of a singular character. He goes into so real depth on Kim and her interior life, giving her unprecedented character development for any of the BWL characters, simply because he has dedicated the space to her.
Beyond that, HD also greatly expands the world of the BWL; the Entropiverse if you will; by showing us how things work OUTSIDE of the BWL. It is a lurid and PRIMAL world of competive sex, where lust can overwhelm and even CRUSH love.
From an art/craft standpoint, I also think it far exceeds the weekly BWL stories in terms of attention to detail, locations, lighting, and even on-page acting. Pacing is stellar, hitting action beats regularly, but also marrying character development or exposition/world building to well stages action.
I also really enjoy the way he experiments with the medium…doing the flashbacks in a different, cartoonier, style really stands put!
If you were hesitant in subscribing before, I recommend it now…there are over 150 images up and updates are generally twice a week. Plus…the story has gotten to the second act Fun-and-Games segment, so stuff is REALLY cooking now!
